A live feed and ticker, not a static snapshot

A scrolling ticker surfaces new hazard events as they come in. The live feed panel lists every active event across all six layers in one place, and each layer refreshes on its own schedule — earthquakes every minute, alerts every two, hurricanes every five, and so on — so the dashboard stays current without you having to reload anything.

Analytics and drought tracking built in

A dedicated Analytics tab charts earthquake frequency over the past seven days and active alert counts at a glance. A separate Drought tab pulls U.S. Drought Monitor severity statistics so you can track long-running conditions, not just sudden events.

Everything else you'd expect

Toggle any hazard layer on or off, filter by alert type with one click, and read live stat tiles for active alerts, active storms and wildfire incidents at the top of the dashboard. An alert sound can be toggled on so new severe events don't slip past unnoticed. A clean dark console interface built for a screen you'll actually keep open, not a themed prop.
